The current collection of tales, priced individually.

Check back often for new additions!

Almost all of these stories include varying levels of adult content. I will make notes accordingly on individual stories if there is something of particular concern.

Love Walked In (I): The first meeting, from Jeanette's point of view. The chemistry crackles from that very first look. $7

Do I Love You? (II): The "part two" of Love Walked In, the second encounter between Nelson and Jeanette, told from Jeanette's point of view. $8

So This is Love (III): The conclusion of this trilogy of Jeanette's point-of-view tales from the earliest part of their relationship. This one takes place that fateful day that Nelson nearly walked off of Naughty Marietta. $8

Chansonette: The first short story to be told from NELSON'S point-of-view, Chansonette is a look at Nelson's romantic sense of honor during the Naughty Marietta era of their tortured, unconsummated relationship. $10

When I Fall in Love: Jeanette and Nelson are at Lake Tahoe making Rose Marie. Nelson has made his feelings well known for some time, but when will Jeanette truly and openly reciprocate them? This deals with introspection and understanding the ways Nelson has affected and changed her already at this point of their relationship. $7

Summertime: A first-person POV introspective study of an important development in the MacDonald/Eddy story, set in 1935 at Lake Tahoe. $10

The Czarina: The second short story to be written from Nelson's perspective, this one deals with the tension of shooting Maytime with so many things unsettled and teetering dangerously on the edge of disaster. Poor baritone. Fairly strong adult content. $10

Lover, Come Back to Me: December, 1939. A change of directors on New Moon coincides with a significant crossroads in Nelson's relationship with Jeanette. Told from his POV, this story deals viscerally with grief, loss and depression but also working through those things together and emerging on the other side of it - together. $15

Keep the Home Fires Burning (NEW!): A glimpse into the Mariposa house the night that Nelson stormed off the set following Mayer's disruption of the shooting of I Married an Angel. War has officially broken out, Woody Van Dyke is ill, and now this. Will Nelson go back to work? This tale switches POVs and simply explores this one evening and a bit of the next morning. $10

I'll Be Seeing You: A wartime tale that begins introspectively and ends -- hotly. $8

Intermezzo: Told from Nelson's POV, this wartime homecoming tale details his recuperation under Jeanette's care. Charming and sexy, tinged with sweetness, it's an easy read and a lot of fun. Written several years ago, the author has just rediscovered it and realized it was never listed in the catalog, so that's been corrected, now. $8

While My Lady Sleeps: The procrastinated preparation for a radio show, set in April of 1946. A glimpse of our songbirds at work - and at play - of an evening. $8

Secret Love : An evening, night and morning in 1946, told from Jeanette's POV. More fluff than plot, just a bird's eye view into the two of them sharing time together tucked away in their little Mariposa house before they are due to perform on a radio show. It's sexy......because of course, it's sexy. Hot people are hot and they can't help it. $7

Someone to Watch Over Me: A 53-page NOVELLA, this is a deep dive into the events and family dynamics and status of the relationship with Nelson around and after the death of Anna MacDonald. A couple scenes of adult content, but it isn't fair to say that's the focus, either. It's an all-encompassing, fleshed out story, told from Jeanette's POV. $20

The Rosary:  A multi-POV novella, set in 1948, during the couple's visit to Plattsburgh. This is a reallygood one, even if I did write it. $12.

Farewell to Dreams : A 1948 reflection, told partly in flashback to 1935, from the POV of a morose Jeanette. $7

When Day is Done: September 15, 1948 -- Jeanette jumps at the chance to abandon an attempt at homemaking when she is asked to fill in for an ill Dorothy Kirsten on the Kraft Music Hall. Spend the evening preparing for the show, from her perspective, and spend the night in the arms of the Kraft host, where they -mostly- talk. $12

Mona Lisa: November 11, 1952. Jeanette sings a concert at the Los Angeles Philharmonic; Nelson secretly attends to contemplate what he's been asked to do the following day. We spend an interlude with his thoughts, and only see Jeanette at a distance, but is she ever really removed from anything? No. $8

O Perfect Love: Yet another This is Your Life story, this one from Jeanette's POV, beginning with the party at the Bit of Sweden after the show, exploring the reconciliation in a different light. Strong (but really damn romantic) adult content. Special pricing in consideration of extraordinary length -- a not-so-short story. $12

The Christmas Waltz: The rest of the evening, following their first television performance together on Lux Video Theatre, December of 1956. Told from Jeanette's perspective. $9

Pretty as a PictureThe story around the photoshoot for the Favorites in Hi-Fi album cover. No real adult content (but some sexy banter), minor swearing, I really didn't move mountains or solve world hunger, here -- just a nice, pleasant piece that is what I imagine that shoot might've been like. $10

Halfway to Heaven: September, 1957. Days after appearing on television together and rekindling the embers, the Sweethearts are recording their new album, Favorites in Hi-Fi. Can this work-related togetherness help them find a solution to their problems? (Adult content is referenced, but not depicted.) $9

Let Freedom Ring: January, 1958. Fresh from their respective divorces, Jeanette and Nelson begin afresh to make a life together. This story takes a turn into what-if fiction and alternates POVs between our two main characters. It's sexy, but not explicit. (Note: It is possibly helpful, but not a requirement, to read Halfway to Heaven first.) $10

Beyond the Blue Horizon: The third installment in the trilogy that includes Halfway to Heaven and Let Freedom Ring, this follows the 1958 trajectory that leads to a really fun (if the author does say so herself) opportunity to "see" them in concert together, reaching their better-late-than-never happily ever after. Sexy, but nothing too insane in terms of adult content. $11

Where the Blue Shadows Fall: December, 1957. Jeanette is recovering from an emergency appendectomy on the East Coast when, back home in LA, Isabel Eddy is stricken, hospitalized, and dies. How will she pull Nelson out of the shadows while still trying to heal herself? $15

I Could Write a Book: Why, actually, was Jeanette's autobiography never published? Was it the reason she gave in interviews, that she simply couldn't fill her book with enough "scandal" to satisfy the publisher? Or was the lady protesting too much to hide the real reason? Go on a lengthy read from Nelson's POV to consider a different possibility. Adult content is included in both retrospect and actual fact, though most of the gory details are left to the imagination. $14

An Affair to Remember: Late October, 1963, Jeanette prepares to go to Houston for heart surgery and Nelson prepares to go to Australia. A sweet, poignant and yes, sexy, look at their mature relationship and the eternal youth that informs and infuses it. $11

I Miss the Music : An interview in 1966 sends Nelson on a journey of memories of his life with his beloved. Lengthy and told from Nelson's perspective, I Miss the Music offers a bittersweet trip through the years in flashback. Language, but no adult content -- well, it's referenced, but you don't get to watch. ;) $12

It's All Coming Back to Me: A four-part novella of reconciliations, a theme at which our twosome was incredibly adept. There is fairly strong adult content and strong language, but neither of these things dominate the entire picture. In acknowledgement of its extraordinary length and the fact that it's four stories in one, this piece is priced at $20, and is the author's new favorite piece.

More Than You Know: A four-part series of unrelated glimpses into Nelson's psyche, told from his POV, from the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. $13

My Way of Life: February, 1965 finds Nelson grappling with all the ramifications of his devastating loss. Told partially in flashback, this is a heavy piece, but a worthwhile one. One scene of strong (heartbreaking) adult content. $15
